Mahaveer Institute of Medical Science has been established with the aim of imparting quality medical education to aspiring doctors. The institute, which is proud to start its academic session 2020 – 2021 with its pioneer batch, is committed to fulfill the national objective of preparing the “ Indian Medical Graduate ”, who will we competent to handle all medical problems with consummate skills to address these challenges. The institute will strive unceasingly to achieve this aim.

Our institute does not intend to transfer bookish knowledge, but to impart practical skills of a very high standard to our budding doctors. We do not encourage memorizing or just passing the examinations without the ability to know the scientific and logical basis of concepts. We aim to impart knowledge and skills of medical subjects in such a way to students that they know what they are doing, do it well, and know why they are doing it. Along side , we will encourage them to inculcate the qualities of effective communication, patience, compassion and empathy.

As we progress though time we will establish a robust multidisciplinary research culture and instill the seeds of curiosity and investigative skills from undergraduate level itself.

My message to our students and faculty is :

“ Our journey begins from basic science onward on the path to become a competent, skillful, articulate, compassionate, practitioner of a ‘noble’ profession who will progress on to scale greater heights as ‘Nobel’ Laureates”.
