The Medical College and Hospital in the name of Mahaveer Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MIMS), Bhopal is an institution promoted by the Jain Sarvodaya Vidhya Gyanpith Samiti, Bhopal, a society registered under Madhya Pradesh Societies Registrikaran Adhiniyam 1973, vide Reg. No. 01/01/0114826/05 dated 10.03.2005 as a charitable institution. It is a non-profit making charitable institution and the members of executive committee are experienced in their respective fields.
Human Welfare leading to Physical, Mental & Intellectual upliftment by providing excellent Medical Education and Health services through Jain Sarvodaya Vidhya Gyanpith, a Charitable Society, consisting of eminent personalities from Medical, Political, Administrative, Judicial, Industry and other professional fields.
To develop a 650 bedded General Hospital and Medical College with capacity to enroll 150 students per year. To provide Medical related education and hospital services including research in the medical field by employing latest technology and expertise with state of art infrastructure and facilities. To serve the humanity by making healthcare accessible to common masses specially to most deprived sector of the society and provide medical professionals with in-depth knowledge, compassion and with sensitivity to human in line with the teachings of Lord Mahaveer.

The message that stands is very clear to the effect that the acquired knowledge & skill be rendered selflessly towards care and cure for all in the name of humanity. To bring about complete human welfare, so that ‘peace and prosperity pervades all over the globe.
